Busselton Ithaca Motel

Staff very friendly. Good little spa in bathroom BUT poorly maintained room; mold on bathroom blinds (poor window privacy in the bathroom); main curtain at the entrance was broken and had blood stain? Paper thin walls, toilet seat broken, TV remote broken, mis-match of kitchen ware, quilt was too small for bed, poor ventilation due to lack of security screens meant that the room was stuffy if you were out all day; BBQ area was untidy and dirty. Not maintained and expensive for it's condition.

Pokey little room no light in the sparsely equipt kitchen ...very over priced for little gain. Better places to stay in Busselton.

I stayed at the guest house part of Ithica, the rooms are comfortable and fully equipped with a fridge, MW, jug & toaster. The communal bathrooms are satisfactory and kept very clean. Ithaca represents great value for money and is situated a short walk to all the facilities at the Busselton Jetty on Geographe Bay.

A clean bed for the night in a fairly good location . Little more can be said. Don't get over excited and you won't be disappointed.

We stayed in one of the self-contained rooms. Didn't go in with any expectations, but was pleasantly surprised given some of the negative reviews and 3-star rating. Our room and bathroom were spotless and well equipped (fridge, microwave, kettle, tea/coffee, toiletries). The TV didn't work, but that wasn't an issue as we were only there for one night. The staff were friendly enough when we checked in, and the in/out process was very easy.The water pressure in the shower was excellent. Better than some of the 5-star places I've stayed at.Motel is a short 10-15 minute walk to Busselton's main drag, jetty, and highlights.

Avoid especially if booking the apartment or have young kids/babiesLiked · LocationDisliked · I had high expectations due to the reviews. It was the complete opposite.It was very dirty. Floors were so dirty I had black feet sand and whatever else stuck to my feet just walking to the kitchen. Not good when you have a baby crawling and toddling about on the floor. It like it hadn't been swept and mopped in weeks. The lampshade was broken and unsafe. No bathmat, cold water showers. Funny loud noise at night, so zero sleep and a junk yard at the back of our apartment facing the street. Hundreds of Flies and dead bugs plastered on the bathroom ceiling. The towels were bleach stained and needed replacing. Shower curtain was dirty and gross at the bottom. We had requested a cot and phoned the night before to remind it wasn't in the room after calling to check in 'late' at 5.20pm. The owner was not apologetic about the cot just full of excuses and that he lived in perth city. By the time the cot was given to us it was 8pm, 2 hours since calling. It seems all the smaller rooms have good reviews but the apartment has bad ones. Steer clear. Wouldn't recommend.

A quaint hotel that is centrally located to beaches and great restaurants. We stayed 1 night without issue. We enjoyed the location as it was a short walk from the two main breweries and beautiful beach!It's adorable charm comes from it previously being a church (from the look of things).We were hesitant to book given shared restrooms but found it not an issue at all. Each shower has a private area and stalls are fully closed. There are plenty of towels and toiletries.

Wasn't all that bad in the room. Was presented lovely.If you like to sleep in unfortunately noise did travel and was a lil distributive.Reticulation came on early and left a very funky smell and big puddles everywhere acauae the sprinklers did not work. Besides being a lil run down around the grounds and not being able to park close to our room room we enjoyed our 1 night visit.

Staff member was not overly friendly when we checked in. Uncomfortable bed and strange smells. No bath mats provided either. Not somewhere I'd stay again.

Beautiful old manor house, in a lovely location. Super clean and tidy motel room. Will book again for sure. Very good rates also.
